Allied Artists of the Santa Monica Mountains & Seashore Paint-Out

Beat the heat at this small pocket beach, the most dramatic of several west of Zuma Beach. Hike down to the beach for an up close and personal view of the waves and stunning rock formations or capture them from a landing halfway up or from the bluffs on top with coastline views.
Plein air paint-outs are a great way to meet other artists and discover new sites for inspiration. All plein air artists and art enthusiasts are welcome to participate, no membership required.
Masks a must for the unvaccinated. At 9am, master pastellist and instructor Bruce Trentham will conduct a Pastel Demonstration. There will also be an optional, informal critique after painting.
Bring your own art supplies, water, lunch, sunscreen and repellent, hat and walking shoes.
