Hike to Where Movies Were Made, Since the era of silent movies, the land known today as Malibu Creek State Park has been the backdrop for countless films and worldwide settings. Especially when it was owned by 20th Century Fox from 1946 to 1974. Join a docent for a 3 mile moderate hike to where cameras once rolled and directors yelled ‘Action.’ Meet in the lower parking lot. Parking fee: $3 an hour. $12 maximum. Dogs not permitted on trails. Rain cancels. 1925 Las Virgenes Rd. Calabasas.
