(Topanga, California) – The public is invited to receive an update on current efforts to protect
and restore the Topanga Lagoon. Attendees will have an opportunity to learn:
• Why is the restoration of the Topanga Lagoon important
• What is the vision for a restored lagoon and beach
• What is the project status and timeline
• Who are the organizations leading the restoration effort
• How to get involved!
The meeting will be taking place on Saturday, June 17th, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Las
Virgenes Municipal Water District, located at 4232 Las Virgenes Road, Calabasas, CA 91302. Light
morning refreshments will be served. Parking is free and the location is accessible via public transit
(Metro G /Orange Line, Bus Routes 161, 422, 423). For those unable to attend in person, the meeting
