Next week, members of the North Santa Monica Bay Watershed Area Steering Committee and the public will be receiving a presentation about proposed watershed planning efforts by the team at Los Angeles County Public Works.Both members of the North Santa Monica Bay Watershed Area Steering Committee and the general public are invited to give feedback and guidance on proposed watershed planning for our region.Watershed planning means that community leaders will consider how natural and assisted hydrological systems function throughout the North Santa Monica Bay Watershed.Items under discussion will include,
  • How to increase local water supply
  • How to improve local water quality
  • How to best integrate nature based solutions into watershed management
  • Key projects
  • Education / engagement / outreach
  • Funding
