NVC in Nature Spring Equinox Self-Empathy Women’s Circle

March 20, 2022 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

March 20th @ 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm Pacific Come, restore your soul in a sanctuary of Nature and empowered self-empathy.

About this event
Throughout history, cultures display a correlation between how they connect with Nature and how they treat women. Women in turn internalize the cultural norms. When we are aware, we can transform the water in which we swim and co-create a supportive inner landscape. Self-empathy, sisterhood and Nature can provide powerful support in this transformation.

Let’s celebrate the 1st day of Spring by co-creating a sanctuary of sisterhood in Nature, where domination cultural conditioning can dissolve. Let’s go outside, hug a tree, breathe the fresh air, gather on the land with other women, and Celebrate Being Alive! We may even let our inner Joy Wolves howl!
Logistics:

We will meet at 2:00 at the picnic tables just inside the entrance to Temescal Canyon State Park, take a gentle hike together, then gather under the canopy of ancient Oaks for a circle of self-empathy practice (likely with LoveSmart cards and/or The Elements Deck), followed by journaling/voluntary sharing.
The event will run from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm Pacific.

Address: 15601 Sunset Blvd, Pacific Palisades, CA 90272. There is paid parking in the park and free parking on both Sunset and Temescal.

For those who would like to attend, I request you rsvp by noon, March 19th, so that I can send you any changes. I also request that if you change your plans, that you update your rsvp. Thank you!
Items you might want to bring: water, sunscreen, journal, and a sun hat. You may also want to bring something to sit or lie on.
