Topanga Days is Back!

After two years of quiet streets and an empty stage on Memorial Day Weekend, Topanga Days, the TCC’s annual fundraiser, is back on May 29 and 30.

Produced by the Topanga Community Center (TCC), the event will be all outdoors featuring local Los Angeles and Topanga talent, food trucks, and vendors. The ballfield stage will be the main attraction, hosting the following bands for the Topanga Days 2022 Lineup:

Boogaloo Assassins / Cecilia Noël / Hallelujah Boy / Hello Forever / Honeybee / Próxima Parada /Robin Moxey & Eric Lynn and Friends / Sam Small / Surge / Venice

Check topangadays.com for the times each band is scheduled to play, as well as a showcase of talent from TCC classes and programs, and of course, the beloved ballfield games between sets!

The Topanga Days Horseshoe tournament will also be held the afternoon of Sunday, May 29.

Our much-loved Topanga Days will be a bit different this year given budgeting and public safety concerns.

  • Topanga Days will be held on Sunday, May 29 and Monday, May 30 only.
  • All performances will be on the ballfield stage. The Corral Stage is dark this year and there will not be a Cowboy Breakfast on Sunday, May 29.
  • The Fun Zone will be limited to the TCC playground and some games in the adjacent area–no bounce houses this year.
  • Tickets are available for purchase online at topangadays.com ONLY. All ticket sales will only be online, and because of reduced capacity, the TCC recommends purchasing your tickets in advance.

The TCC Board, along with the Topanga Days committee, has worked to navigate the LA County guidelines surrounding COVID-19 guidance for events of this size. Be sure to check topangadays.com for more information about any entry requirements.

Topanga Days is the largest annual fundraiser for the TCC, a volunteer managed non-profit community center that is open to the public. “We know this is something the Topanga community wants and needs, and we’re working hard to make it a reality in a responsible way,” says TCC President Kelly Rockwell. “We’re really trying to tailor this event for our neighbors – the TCC supporters and members who have helped see us through what could have been a devastating two years. As an independently managed community center, that support was vital.”

Topanga Days is going to be well worth the wait and the price of admission to support your local community center.  Get more bang for your buck by becoming or renewing your TCC membership and get a great deal on tickets.

TCC member ticket pricing is as follows:

2-day Adult member ticket: $35

2-day child member ticket: $20

Single day adult member ticket: $20

Single day child member ticket: $15

Note that there are limitations on how many tickets can be purchased under each membership. To become a member, just go to https://topangacommunitycenter.org and click the Join/Renew button at the top.

Non-member ticket pricing:

2-day adult non-member ticket: $90

2-day child non-member ticket: $40

Single day adult non-member ticket: $50

Single day child non-member ticket: $20

Because this is a popular event and there is no parking available on the grounds of the TCC, shuttles will be running up and down Topanga Canyon Boulevard from 10 am to 7:00 pm Sunday and Monday with shuttle stops along the way from the south at Topanga Market parking lot to Viewridge Estates at the north end.

Be sure to park legally on the road – clear of the white line (to the right of) or you WILL be towed.

The TCC has also been very fortunate to secure Topanga Days sponsorships. Nonie Shore, the TCC VP in charge of Events & Fundraising adds, “We are grateful to everyone for helping to sponsor our fundraiser this year, as this event has become very expensive to host. Every sponsorship makes a difference and it is not too late to become a sponsor. This year, the Anthony & Jeanne Pritzker Family Foundation, Abacus Wealth Partners, The Wright Way Team with Compass Realty, Mananalu Water, and Snyder Sutton Real Estate have led the way in being our Backbone Trail sponsors.”

The Topanga Days Memorial Day Parade will also make a comeback on Monday, May 30th. A handful of local businesses generously stepped up to maintain the tradition of our hometown parade.
