EARTH DAY EVENT CLEAN VENTURA BLVD: VALLEY CIRCLE TO UNIVERSAL STUDIOS

Event Time: 8:30am – 10:30am
Location:  You will be assigned a street THIS IS A FIRST!  BE PART OF IT! We will be clearing the litter from Ventura Boulevard starting from Universal Studios all the way to Valley Circle – 16 miles of street!  All in a 2 hour period using volunteers who want to help to get the streets clean and send a message that if we work together, we can accomplish amazing things! You will be assigned a street / partner to work with as you start at 8am to clean both sides of the assigned street going east and west – ridding the curb, sidewalk and planters of all litter.  You pick up everything that is not organized (cigarette butts, cups, paper, car accident parts, screws, cans, to go materials, straws, etc.).All bags will be secured by tying the top flaps and then placed near the curb against a pole of some kind for easy pick up.  If you can group the bags together, that is even better.
