our new State Assembly Member Jacqui Irwin
and the MDC Board
on Saturday, March 11. Join us in welcoming and introducing our new State Assembly Member, Jacqui Irwin, to Malibu on Saturday, March 11. She’ll be hiking with us at the Zuma Canyon Trailhead. She’ll then join us for lunch at the Malibu Brewing Company.  The Hike begins at 11:00 am at the Zuma Canyon Trailhead Parking Lot off Bonsall Drive. (Carpooling recommended due to limited parking space.) Lunch follows at 1:00 pm at the Malibu Brewing Company at the Trancas Country Mart. (Each person responsible for their own tab.) Come for one or both activities. Space Limited. RSVP Required.

THE HIKE: We will meet at 11:00 a.m. at the Zuma Canyon Trailhead Parking Lot, located at the dead end of Bonsall Dr. Carpooling to the hike is recommended, as parking spaces at the trailhead are limited. The trail is mostly flat and runs along the Zuma Creek bed. Please wear outdoor shoes with traction, and bring your own water. We will hike for approximately an hour to an hour and a half. Hikers: In the event of rain, please check your email a day ahead of time for updates. (Rain is not expected at this time.).LUNCH: At 1:00 p.m., we’ll meet at the Malibu Brewing Co., located in the Trancas Country Mart shopping center at 30745 E Pacific Coast Hwy. Seating is limited, so RSVP in advance to ensure your seat. You’ll be able to order anything on the Malibu Brewing Company menu. Each person is responsible for their own tab. We hope you can join us in welcoming Jacqui to Malibu and helping her get to know our town and our community better.
