Malibu Foundation – Planting Event – Posponed

April 22, 2023 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm

SATURDAY, APR 22 | 9 AM – 2 PM

We are excited to once again be rewilding our beautiful region! We are partnering with the city of Calabasas, NPS, and SAMOFund to plant the first, in the Santa Monica Mountains, microforest on Saturday, April 22nd, at De Anza Park in Calabasas! This event brings the community together in efforts to create a microforest that will grow 5x faster than traditional planting, meaning that more carbon will be captured and more water will be conserved. There will be water, coffee, and a light lunch provided for volunteers! Family-friendly! We hope that will you join us for this unique planting experience!
We would love for you to be a part of this special day!
