Topanga Banjo•Fiddle Contest & Folk Festival

Always the 3rd Sunday of May, TBFC  is May 15, 2022.  

Headlining this years’ TBFCF will be a rare west coast performance of the Grammy nominated Po’ Ramblin’ Boys originally from Sevierville, Tennessee.

Bring your instruments! Jam with new and old friends!  Enjoy our workshops!  Enter the competitions.  Watch the instrumentalists, singers and red-hot Acoustic Bands compete.

Cowboy Poets, Old Time Singers and Storytellers, Music and Dance Workshops, Historic Exhibits, Artisan Wares, Kid’s Crafts, and an Instrument Petting Zoo are thrown in the mix to make sure nobody gets left out. 

Join our Dance Workshops and Contests in a cornucopia of styles including Flatfoot and Clog dancing, Contra, and a Bulkan Dance Party. 

New this year, Cornell Wines has paired with us for a wine tasting area near the Main Stage called the Americana Lounge.  You can bring a picnic or purchase some of the great food available from our selection of food trucks.

This is all set at the historic Paramount Ranch, in the beautiful Santa Monica mountains.  The environs promise a beautiful day in the countryside.  Just a short drive from the urban sprawl.
