Topanga Community Conservation event for Saturday, November 4, 2023 to be held from 9:00 – 11:30 a.m. Guests can learn about how to order a native plants kit from TreePeople which includes 10 plants, how to connect with A Student Battery Recycling Company run by two students from Calabasas High School, get some free plants from the nursery run by Los Angeles County Fire Department, learn about water quality problems from Heal the Bay and Los Angeles Water Quality Control Board staff, while finding out about project at Viewridge Estates that will be built by Los Angeles County Flood Control and Los Angeles County Public Works, while getting an opportunity to meet with staff from the Office of Supervisor Lindsey Horvath. This event is a project of Safe, Clean Water L.A.
