Topanga Town Council Meeting

Please join us for the November Topanga Town Council meeting at the Topanga Library (122 N. Topanga Can Blvd) on Wednesday, November 15th from 6-7:45 pm. This shall be our last public meeting of the calendar year as we break for the holiday season. We shall resume our regular public meetings on Wednesday, January 11, 2024.This month’s highlights will include news from CHP Officer, Casey Ramstead, on the imminent implementation of AB 645 (speed cameras) and special operations planned by the Street Racing Task Force for the Santa Monica Mountains. We shall also hear from Chief Drew Smith and Megan Currier on the Swenson Road fire and other peak fire season caveats. Our State legislative liaisons will review what passed (and what didn’t) for 2023 and tell us what’s on the docket for 2024. In addition, the Topanga Town Council will go over the preliminary results from our Short-term Rental (STR) Survey and working group meetings.
