Trees are an important part of what makes Topanga special, but are there specific trees here that have stories or that are witnesses to history? That was the question asked to us by a Topanga New Times reader, and it made us wonder. Many of us have favorite trees, but are there stories that go with them? We would like to know what you think, dear readers. Do you have a favorite tree or a story connected to a particular tree, either here in the Santa Monica Mountains or anywhere in the world? If you do, and you would like to share, we would love to learn more. Send a photo and a story to [email protected]
