Volunteer Opportunity to Support the Monarchs 

California Conservation Corps Watershed Stewards program in partnership with AmeriCorps, to restore habitat for Monarch Butterflies in the Woolsey fire burn scar!

The Woolsey Fire heavily affected monarch butterfly overwintering habitat along Arroyo Sequit Creek. Join the Watershed Stewards Program, RCDSMM, and California state parks to help restore this vital area!

Volunteer on February 11th at Leo Carrillo State Park. Bring close-toed shoes, a water bottle, sunglasses, sunscreen, and clothes that can get dirty. 

RSVP required! Write to nate.kamm@ccc.ca.gov with the number of volunteers and their ages. 

WSP will adhere to all CDPH guidelines during any in-person restoration events.
