BALLOT PROPOSITIONS FORUM, SATURDAY, SEP. 28, 5 – 7 PM
(Friday night’s event: Karaoke for Kamala)

The Westside Democratic Headquarters (WDHQ) at 1241 3rd St. Promenade in Santa Monica (between Wilshire and Arizona, across from Sephora) is hosting a Ballot Props Forum, bringing in advocates and opponents of propositions to discuss the pros and cons of 2024’s ballot measures. (Here’s a rundown of what’s on the ballot.) The forum should provide lively debate on some of the California and L.A. County propositions that could change things for millions of residents.Thousands of Westsiders eager to help elect Harris and Walz will volunteer at the HQ between now and Election Day, calling / texting / postcarding / traveling to knock doors in Vegas. (We expect 100+ to take next week’s bus to battleground neighbor Arizona.) The HQ features special events with entertainment • Debate watch parties • Candidate meet-and-greets • Kid-friendly activities • the Westside’s biggest political merch store • Food & drink for volunteers • Big-screen TVs tuned to local and national news. List of special events here, including tonight’s Karaoke for Kamala.
