Asian American & Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander Heritage Day

May 21, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Join us in the celebration of Asian American and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander Heritage!

Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders have a rich heritage thousands of years old and have both shaped the history of the United States and had their lives dramatically influenced by moments in its history.

Every May during Asian American and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander Heritage Month and throughout the year, the National Park Service and our partners share those histories and the continuing culture thriving in parks and communities today.

Come and learn about our local Asian history. You can listen to Taiko Drumming and other live musical performances, participate in traditional folk dancing, feather lei making, hula dancing, and more!  This free event runs from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
