Canyon Sages Volunteer Meeting

Thursday, June 29, 1:00 p.m. at the Sages Room
(This will replace the meeting previously announced for July 11)
New Volunteers of all Ages Welcome! All current volunteers and future volunteers who would like to fill specific jobs for the Sages, the only Topanga organization serving seniors, are invited to attend the next meeting of the Sages.On the agenda:
Signups for specific volunteer positions, including
  Computer Savvy folks who can be trained to update our website, keep member lists current, and communicate with the Sages on behalf of the leaders.  Activities coordinators who can help set up and run new paid classes and free clubs for the fall and beyond.  Dinner volunteers who can assist with cooking and serving our fantastic monthly dinners when they return next fall. Can you teach a skill? Are you a psychologist who can run groups concerned with senior issues? We’d love to meet you.   Fundraisers who can help write grants and find money sources for the Sages Outreach volunteers who can provide services to shut-ins, like visits and rides  Please come to find out more about the Sages and help us keep it up and running. To all those volunteers who recently signed on — this is the chance to get your feet wet and start right away with a specific volunteering position.
