Climate Calling 2024: Malibu Library Speaker Series

Pepperdine University, the City and the Malibu Library present a special Earth Month Malibu Library Speaker Series featuring Rosanna Xia, Los Angeles Times environmental reporter and columnist, who will examine how environmental journalists today are writing about climate change. She will discuss lessons learned on how to turn complex issues into memorable and deeply-felt stories. Xia will also introduce her new book, “California Against the Sea,” and share insights from her award-winning reporting on sea level rise. Free with RSVP.
