Opening reception Topanga Canyon Gallery “When Pigs Fly”

“When Pigs Fly” will present new work by 15 participating artists. Future shows at the gallery will exhibit a comprehensive body of work by two artists, each in a separate gallery space. Every three weeks a new artist’s work will occupy each space, to give art lovers the opportunity to immerse themselves in the work of a number of artists each season.

“When Pigs Fly” will be showing from October 22 through November 7. The Gallery is open Fridays 2PM – 7PM, and Saturdays and Sundays noon – 5 PM.

Artists from Topanga and neighboring communities have come together to create a new venue for art in Topanga. The new location of Topanga Canyon Gallery is 137 S Topanga Canyon Blvd, across from the south entrance to Pine Tree Circle.

“THE RELOCATION IS THE PRODUCT OF A NEW APPROACH BY THE GALLERY, DOUBLING THE NUMBER OF ARTISTS REPRESENTED BY WELCOMING EMERGING AND MID-CAREER CONTEMPORARY ARTISTS. THE NEW LOCATION WILL HAVE 2 GALLERIES, ALLOWING FOR MORE SOLO SHOWINGS ALLOWING A MORE IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE FOR THE ART LOVER.

THE FIRST SHOW IN THE NEW SPACE WILL BE “WHEN PIGS FLY” WITH AN OPENING RECEPTION ON OCTOBER 23. ”
