WATER is LIFE
Slow it,…… Spread it, ……Sink it! SAFETY IN THE GARDEN Summer heat is starting to escalate. After a few years of wet winters our beloved Topanga is green and healthy. However we watch as our creeks dry up and water tables drop to bone dry creeks. Where does the water go?Canyon Sages – Topanga Garden Club is scheduled for Tuesday July 30th 1 to 2:30 pm. Kat High will help us make our gardens safe as we age. She is full of insights on how to plan and navigate our outdoor space as senior citizens. Linnea Richards will lead a discussion of the importance of hidden water in our environment. What we can’t see is out of mind yet so important to our gardens and lives. Hidden water keeps us safe through our hottest times of the year. Summer is the time to plan and prepare for winter rains. Bring your ideas and strategies to keep you and your yard hydrated!If you have enjoyed past Garden Club offerings, you will like this month’s coming away with new insights of creating a safe environment in many ways.
