Topanga Elementary’s Third Annual Variety Show

Topanga Elementary held its 3rd  annual Variety Show on the magnificent stage under the oaks at Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum. This annual event showcases the talents of the students from Topanga Elementary while raising funds to support Art and Science initiatives at the school. This year’s theme was the beloved classic film, “The Wizard Of Oz,” and the show proved to be a huge success for students, parents, and the school.

Visual Arts and Performing Arts Chair and show producer Stephanie Polansky stated, “The stage at Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum was transformed into the land of Oz. The show featured over 20 acts ranging from singing, dancing, magic, comedy, aerial arts, piano, violin, science and so much more. The audience was thoroughly entertained, with every student and parent clearly enjoying each performance.” The show sold out a few days before the event and an impressive amount of money was raised to support Topanga Elementary’s art and science enrichment programs. Polansky states: “To the parents who donated, cheered from the audience or volunteered their time and energy for this event thank you. You are the backbone of our school community and we could not have pulled off this incredible event without your help.”
