A quirky, thoroughly absorbing drama based on John D’Agata and Jim Fingal’s best-selling book about the head-to-head battle of a fresh out-of-Harvard fact-checker and an author who could save a magazine from collapse—should his essay ever be published. Topanga Actors Company’s staged-reading of the Broadway hit features Jessica Hendra, Harry Hart-Browne, and Zeke Reed.
October THE BOY WHO SAW TRUE: Topanga Library, October 21 & 22. Malibu Library, October 28 & 29. Master storyteller Harry Hart-Browne shares his adaptation of a boy’s diary that’s been called a classic of the paranormal in an hour-long entertainment perfectly timed for Halloween.
November SHORT-PLAY FESTIVAL 2023: Topanga Library, November 4 & 5. Second weekend, Topanga Library, November 18 & 19.
