Topanga prides itself on being an independent, free-minded place, where we take care of our own, which includes our Topanga Community Center (TCC). That is why the TCC is not county run and why (when there is not a pandemic) the TCC gets to host events the way the community wants. As our community sees the end of the pandemic on the horizon, the TCC anticipates an even greater need to bring our Topanga friends together, and the TCC looks forward to being that place again.
The TCC is a unique community space, run by a volunteer board that is tasked with maintaining and enhancing 11 acres of private property for the community. This is done so the TCC can offer low-cost classes to all ages, have a space for events, meetings, programs and rentals, give dinners for our Canyon Sages, and have a nurturing place for our Topanga Youth Services and so much more…
But this cannot be done alone; that is why the TCC needs our community’s support by becoming a member and contributing throughout the year.
The TCC is kicking off a Fall Giving Challenge this year with an Open House & Bocce Ball Tournament on Saturday Nov 6th through Giving Tuesday, Nov 30, 2021.
So get inspired by what this volunteer run organization offers and pool together your friends to help support this special community center by donating today & sharing this plea with your friends. Whether you are utilizing its grounds right now or not, please know that your financial buy-in to the TCC, no matter how much, adds up and makes a difference!
If the TCC can meet its goal of $25,000 by the end of Giving Tuesday on November 30th, they will host a special event open to those friends who supported this Topanga gem during this month.
