Film Screening: Western Monarch Butterflies: Protecting Our Pollinators 

This month, there is to be a special outdoor screening of Western Monarch Butterflies: Protecting Our Pollinators, a powerful film by Ian Nelson highlighting the story of Western monarchs and local efforts to protect them.

This special event is being hosted in partnership with Santa Monica Mountains Fund, Ventura County Resource Conservation District, Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation, and the Resource Conservation District of the Santa Monica Mountains. The film screening is taking place on March 7th from 5:00pm to 7:30pm at Peter Strauss Ranch located at 30000 Mulholland Hwy, Agoura Hills, CA 91301. Tickets are $15, and children under 12 are free. There will be events prior to the actual screening including a Meet & Greet with Partner Organizations & the filmmaker from 5:00-6:00pm, a Q&A Panel from 6:00-6:30pm, followed by the screening itself from 6:30-7:00pm.

There will be snacks available for purchase but organizers encourage you to bring your own picnic as well as blankets to sit on. Proceeds from this event will help support monarch conservation efforts being conducted by each partner organization. While at the event, you will have the opportunity to support each organization individually, if you wish.
