This is it! The sauce to slather on everything! Once you give it a try, you’ll likely be addicted for life, so beware. It’s super quick and easy to make, taking just minutes to put together. It’s fresh, and zesty, and adds a punch of spice to every bite. You can adjust the heat to your liking, so don’t be afraid to give it a try.

Packed with phytonutrients, and healthy fats, this sauce is a way to next-level any dish. Use it on tacos, drizzle it over burrito bowls, use it as veggie dip, or a chip dip. Try it on sandwiches, burgers, or any protein you like, over soups or salads…go crazy with it, nothing’s off limits. This sauce brings brightness to any meal while delivering healthy antioxidants, and supportive nutrition to every mouth full. It’s vegetarian, gluten free, and easy to make vegan/dairy free. I love it!

Ingredients:

  1.  1 avocado
  1.  ½ cup yogurt of your choice (dairy free, if making it vegan)
  1. 1 bunch of cilantro stems and all
  1. Jalapeno roughly chopped- Use as much as you like…Every jalapeno is different, some are spicier than others. You can start off with a smaller amount if you are concerned about heat, and add more as desired. Also, by removing the seeds, and the ribs/pith of the jalapeno, it greatly reduces the spice. I use 1 1/2 jalapenos, deveined in my recipe, and it isn’t spicy
  1. 2- 6 cloves of garlic depending on the size of cloves, and your taste
  1. The juice of 3 limes, or more if you like
  1. 1 cup spinach leaves
  1. ¼ -1/2 teaspoon cumin
  1. 1 tablespoon olive oil
  1. ¼ cup of water
  1. ½ teaspoon salt or more to taste
  1. Optional – pepper, chili powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, coriander, extra lime juice to increase tartness, or a little water to thin it out

Let’s get saucy…

Add all of the ingredients to a high-speed blender or food processor, and blend until creamy. Once fully processed, taste it to see if you need to add any additional ingredients. Does it need a little bit more jalapeno, or cayenne pepper for spice? Lime juice for tartness? Water to thin it out a bit? Salt? Pepper, etc.? Can you believe how easy this is? As soon as you are happy with it, put it in a glass container or jar and place it in the fridge for a couple of hours to allow the flavors to meld together. So zippy, so dynamic, and bold packed with purpose, and flavor! You can store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to five days.

This sauce is versatile, and vibrant, making every dish pop with color. The color of healthy clean nutrition that your body loves. Serve this up to guests, and get ready for some requests. Everyone will want the recipe. Try mixing it with cabbage slaw for fish tacos, spoon it over quesadillas or nachos. It really does make everything better. Wishing you good health and good luck on all of your cooking adventures.
