Corral Tribute with Deb Ryder

Topanga Historical Society presents their Annual Potluck Picnic on June 28, 12pm-3pm. Deb Ryder will pay tribute to The Corral at The Old Canyon Homestead Ranch.

Deb Ryder is a multi-award-winning singer/songwriter whose music receives regular radio airplay globally. Her mother Mary Swanson moved the family to Topanga in 1965. Mary worked at, or ran, the Old Post Office Cafe, Everybody’s Mother, Moonfire Inn, and most notably The Corral (with partner Ral Curren).

Mary Swanson’s children Bruce, Deb, Brad, and Allan will talk about how living behind the famous rock and blues club influenced them. Then they will be joined by Deb’s husband Ric Ryder and local musicians Tom Mitchell, Jon Shea, and Dana Woods for an hour-long performance of songs by the beloved musicians who played at The Corral from 1969 to 1973.

Join THS for an hour-long musical performance by all the great musicians who played at The Corral, and a lovely afternoon.

Member tickets: $20

Non-member: $40
