The Beach Bus is Back!

Heading out to the beach this weekend? The perfect beach day, free of traffic and parking headaches.

A ticket to ride the LA County Beach bus is $1, and $.50 for seniors and people with disabilities. The route runs from the Valley all the way to the Santa Monica Pier, with stops at Topanga Beach and Will Rogers State Beach. Topanga residents can catch a ride at the intersection of Viewridge and Topanga Canyon Blvd., and in front of the General Store across the boulevard from Pine Tree Circle.

The Beach Bus service runs three times a day, departing the Warner Center in Woodland Hills (Orange Line Connection) at 9:30 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3:35 p.m. Return trips from Santa Monica Pier (Expo Line Connection) depart at 10:45 a.m., 2:15 p.m. and 4:50 p.m. A complete schedule of stops and pick up times can be found here: beachbus.org
