Manzanita School and Institute, Topanga’s only accredited independent school for grades K-12, celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. On October 1st from 11-4pm, Manzanita School welcomes the community to experience the magic that is the school’s annual Acorn Festival, an on-campus gathering to mark the fall harvest. The festival will feature crafts, games, art demonstrations and more, all inspired by the incredible local ecology. Food will be provided for purchase by beloved locals such as La Chingona, These Are the Days, and School of Lunch, among others. All tickets and proceeds will benefit the school and its programs, from one of-a-kind expeditionary learning adventures to financial aid. Manzanita would not be the unique place it is without the support of the local community. The school hopes Topanga will join them in celebrating the changing season under the oaks!!

This is a family-friendly event and a wonderful opportunity to learn more about Manzanita’s mission. The Acorn Festival will be held on Manzanita’s campus at 1717 Old Topanga Canyon Rd. Valet parking will be provided. www.mnzevents.org
