Zoom Medicare Workshop November 19, 6:00

The Canyon Sages invites Topanga to an informational Zoom event on Medicare, Tuesday, November 19 at 6:00. Bruce Johnston, a licensed broker with decades of Medicare experience, will be returning to the canyon for this event to answer any and all queries about Medicare.

This workshop will be helpful to those either on Medicare and considering any changes, or those who are almost Medicare age and wanting to know more. This workshop would also be helpful for anyone helping a parent or friend navigate the program.

When and how do you apply? What does Medicare cover? What is Medigap and do you need it? How much does a supplementary plan cost? Are your drugs covered? If you’re not happy with your plan, how do you change it? Make a list of your need-to-knows and Bruce will be there to answer all your questions.

Go to the link on November 19 at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/87815964409?pwd=dcwQWGlg2LwSyM08aiSocIEZH3HdWp.1

Or go to thecanyonsages@gmail.com and our volunteer contact Vicki Routs will answer any questions you have about the event.

And if you’re Medicare age or close and haven’t already done it, join The Canyon Sages, Topanga’s only organization by and for older adults. The Canyon Sages holds events such as low-cost classes, free clubs, free monthly dinners, and is made up of a strong service group reaching out to those at risk and lobbying for the community elders’ needs. To join and/or volunteer, check out the website at canyonsages.com.
