Rattlesnake Education and Q & A at the Theatricum

Residents of Topanga Canyon and nearby areas are invited to a free, family-friendly information session on snakes on Sunday, March 9 at noon at the Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum. Snakes emerging from hibernation this spring may find themselves displaced by the recent fires and could seek shelter in yards. At this event, residents will meet live snakes in a safe setting, learn to identify harmless snakes and rattlesnakes, and learn what to do if they encounter a rattlesnake in their yard. This event is brought to you by Central Coast Snake Services (www.CentralCoastSnakeServices.com), which is dedicated to reducing human-rattlesnake conflict to help keep people, pets, and livestock safe in rattlesnake country.
