TAC Presents Our Man in Santiago

Thanks to the generosity of television producer and playwright Mark Wilding, Topanga Actors Company (TAC) is inviting locals to a special reading of his play Our Man in Santiago, at the Topanga Library. The event is  completely free, with the usual library perks of free parking, etc. The playwright treats the audience to a hilarious comedy and political farce that is, delightfully, a laugh-fest and more. An apparently hapless newbie CIA agent is bossed by a cynical supervisor and answerable to no less than President Nixon, seconded by Henry Kissinger.

Loosely inspired by the Nixon Administration’s failed attempt to remove Salvador Allende, the playwright leaves no comic vein untapped as Daniel and Jack aided and abetted by hotel maid Maria bumble through their entertaining assignment.

Our Man in Santiago had its theatrical debut at Theatre West in 2021, and now comes to Topanga as two afternoon readings on Saturday and Sunday, October 25 & 26 at 2pm

Topanga Library- 122 N. Topanga Canyon Boulevard. Check out TAC’s website for more information about the company https://topangaactorscompany.weebly.com/.
