Topanga Actors Company Presents!

A contemporary portrait of luscious Nell Gwynn, actress and mistress to a monarch. Nellie is one of five historic actresses featured in Topanga Actors Company’s Playhouse Creatures by April De Angelis.

It’s London 1669 with England’s Restoration period well underway. The city is bustling with new plays and new sights. Imagine you have never seen a woman on stage before, and now there are five!

Topanga Actors Company invites you to their first staged reading of 2026 featuring five talented actresses playing stage legends and a thoroughly original script that will delight and intrigue.  Earthy language, laughter and tears. “You’ll come away moved and inspired” says Time Out.

Featuring Annie Abrams, Zuri Alexander, Allison Davies, Jessica Hendra, Madi Fairfield as The Five. Judith Hendra narrates.

All to be enjoyed at Topanga Library on February 21 and 22, at 2pm. Open-seating; no tickets required, there is ample library parking. Questions? Feel free to email TAC at topangaactorscompany@theatercompany.org
