Nancy Swenson Williams Memorial

There will be a life celebration for longtime Topangan, Nancy Swenson Williams, at the site of the old Froggy’s Restaurant in Topanga on Saturday, September 12 from 11am to 5pm.

Nancy passed away last January, and her husband John Williams and sons Brian and Eric DeCook want to welcome Nancy’s friends and family to come share stories and celebrate a life well-lived. A service and open floor for sharing memories will begin at 12pm.

Froggy’s Fish Market is an indoor/outdoor venue charmingly located under oak trees alongside the peaceful Topanga Creek. Fittingly, it once served as the auditorium and lunch room for the original Topanga Elementary School that Nancy once attended. Froggy’s is well appointed with indoor and outdoor patio seating. There is parking in front of the restaurant as well as below, but space is limited, so please carpool if possible. 1105 N Topanga Canyon Blvd.

The afternoon will be lightly catered by the family, and they invite attendees to contribute to the potluck-style gathering. If you’d like to bring a dish, please let them know what you plan to bring when you RSVP. Please RSVP at: https://partiful.com/e/nNlfHvSQjcZe2aFf5rRF
