Paint Out!

Allied Artists of the Santa Monica Mountains & Seashore will hold a Paint Out at Malibu Bluffs Park on Saturday, September 10. Artist, Bonnie Freund, will conduct an oil Painting Demonstration at 9am.

The address is 24250 Pacific Coast Hwy,

Malibu CA 90266. (At PCH and Malibu Canyon Road).

Come join the fun at this 6 acre local community park. There are views from fields, playgrounds and picnic tables up on the bluff top, and hiking trails for more intrepid scenic searchers to take to wild nature areas just below the cliffs, where native vegetation reigns over the seaside chaparral fields.

The demo artist is Bonnie Freund, the Allied Artists club president! She will be set up at the Ocean View picnic tables just past the Whale Watching Station, which is at the far north-west end of the park. Demo starts at 9am, and it’s best to get there early since the parking lot is not very large.

There are several picnic areas available to set up at, and the view goes out over the ocean to the north, west and south. Later in the day, the whole group will sit together for a very informal pot-luck lunch after a morning of painting. Please join, and bring something delicious to share!
